The Potter's Center Clay Studio 
Pottery Classes

Wednesdays 6:30-9:30 p.m.

A clay class covering all aspects of studio pottery for beginners and those with some experience. Students will learn to use the wheel, explore hand-building techniques and use basic glazing methods. Class includes a three hour class session and three hours of open studio time per week for six weeks.

Tuition: $150 plus tax, which includes 25 lbs. of clay, glazes, and firing.

Registration Information

The studio classes meet once a week for three hours with an instructor and includes three hours per week of open studio time. Missed classes by students are lost unless cancelled by the instructor. The open studio time does not accumulate.

Monthly pass $100 plus tax
Daily pass $15 plus tax

The studio is open the same hours as The Potter's Center. Studio users will provide their own clay and pay for firings.

Firing for the Public

Open firing for bisque and cone 5 glaze are at a per kiln rate of $40.00. Less than a full kiln load will be included into the next kiln load and priced according to the amount of space used. Studio glazes for cone 5 are available for use with the cost dependent upon the amount of ware to glaze. Gas kiln firing available at a rate of $150.00 per kiln load or $10.00 per cu. ft.
